This group combines expertise in corporate/commercial and regulatory law, advising on specialist competition issues which are of increasing practical significance to our commercial and charity and social enterprise clients. We are founding members of a pioneering collaboration, known as the “Anti-Trust Alliance”, between expert European competition law firms, reflecting the degree to which this is properly a European law subject. Among our client groups this area of work is of particular importance to distributors working in European markets, Trade Associations (see below), locally based businesses in relation to their local markets and charities and social enterprises in relation to the regulation of state aid.
