INHERITANCE TAX - Shared NRB goes unheeded, by Rose Phelps

Two-thirds of UK residents are unaware of the government's October 2007 introduction of transferable nil rate band for inheritance tax, according to a study by lifeco Zurich. More than 80 per cent do not know about the taxation of trust funds and gifts.
